Maybe Romeo and Juliet were fated to be together, but just for a while, and then their time passed. If they could have known that beforehand, maybe it all would have been okay. I told Mrs. Snyder that when I was grown up, I'd take fate into my own hands. I wouldn't let some guy drag me down. Mrs. Snyder said that I'd be lucky if I ever had that kind of passion with someone, and if I did, we'd be together forever. Even now, I believe that for the most part, love is about choices. It's about putting down the poison and the dagger and making your own happy ending...most of the time. And sometimes, despite all your best intentions, fate wins anyway. - Grey's Anatomy

Sometimes it's easy to feel like you're the only one in the world who's struggling, who's frustrated, or unsatisfied, or barely getting by. But that feelings a lie. And if you just hold on, just find the courage to face it all for another day and someone, or something, will find you and make it all okay. Because we all need a little help sometimes. Someone to help us hear the music in our world. To remind us that it won't always be this way. That someone is out there, and that someone will find you - One Tree Hill

That's the thing about depression: A human being can survive almost anything, as long as she sees the end in sight. But depression is so insidious, and it compounds daily, that it's impossible to ever see the end. The fog is like a cage without a key. - Wrutzel, Prozac Nation

When you fall in love, it is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then it subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the desire to mate every second of the day. It is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every part of your body. No, don't blush. I am telling you some truths. For that is just being in love; which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away. Doesn't sound very exciting, does it? But it is! - Captain Corelli's Mandolin

you wanna know what living life to the fullest actually is? it's waking up on a monday morning with no complaints. it's knowing you always deserve to laugh. it's doing what feels right no matter what. it's doing what you want to, no matter how stupid you look. it's about being yourself, cause no one can tell you you're doing it wrong.

You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other until it makes you quiver, but you will never be friends. -Buffy The Vampire Slayer

So, here I am, three years later and he's three feet away from me. I could say hello, but I don't want to disturb the memory.

Not all wounds are superficial. Most wounds run deeper than you can imagine. You can't see them with the naked eye. And then there are the wounds that take us by surprise. The trick with any kind of wound or disease is to dig down and find the real source of the pain - and once you've found it, try like hell to heal that sucker. - Grey's Anatomy

Want my advice? Stay mad as long as you can 'cause once you stop, it hurts like hell.

"Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to do nothing."
-CSI

Great occasions do not make heroes or cowards; They simply unveil them to the eyes of the world. - Bishop Westcott

I was born when she kissed me. I died when she left me. I lived a few weeks while she loved me. - In A Lonley Place

Sometimes everything needs to fall apart before it can really fit together right.

If only for today, I am not afraid.

"When life keeps you in the dark, baby, that's when you start looking at the stars."-Touched by an Angel

So I'll walk the plank and jump with a smile. If I'm gonna go down I'll do it in style. And you won't see me surrender, you won't hear me confess. You've left me with nothing but I've worked with less.

Life can take your dreams and turn them upside down, friends will talk about you when you're not around, reality can really cut you down to size, but don't ever lose the light in your eyes.

"Everything changes eventually. That's just the way life is, and you have no control over it. Like suddenly people who you thnk are always going to be there, they disappear. People die and they move away and they grow up."
-Dawson's Creek

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or what you want to become. You never know who these people may be; your roommate, neighbor, professor, long lost friend, lover or even a complete stranger who, when you lock eyes with them, you know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way. Sometimes things happen to you and at the time they may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, will power or heart. Everything happens for a reason.Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. Safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet who affect your life and the successes and downfalls you experience, they are the ones who create who you are. Even the bad experiences can be learned from...those lessons are the hardest and probably the most important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to who you open your heart to. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them. Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen, let yourself fall in love, break freeand set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to.

Every problem has a gift for you in its hands. - Richard Bach

The dreamer is one who can find his way only by moonlight and his punishment is that he sees dawn before the rest of the world. - Oscar Wilde

"Sometimes the road less traveled is less traveled for a reason."
-Seinfeld

How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before beginning to improve the world. - Anne Frank

Love is a puzzle. You're frantically trying to put together the pieces to find the right ones that fit. The puzzle is made up of your family, your friends, the people around you that care about you. But there's always that one piece that's missing, and when you find that specific piece, you don't let it sit all by itself; you pair it off with its correct fit. And when those pieces fit together...it's an addition to a beautiful picture. But that doesn't mean failed attempts are pointless. Just because on the first attempt to fit the pieces together you don't get it right doesn't mean that you shouldn't try again. It's the pain that lets us appreciate how perfect the match is. If it wasn't for that pain, we would never understand what true love is. You might find the missing piece on the first try, or on the fifth, but either way, you've found it and that should be beautiful enough.

There are no certainties where dreams are concerned. Some are achieved, but just as many sputter and die. And when they do, it's tempting to wonder why you ever dreamed at all. - Everwood

Men are haunted by the vastness of eternity. And so we ask ourselves: will our actions echo across the centuries? Willstrangers hear our names long after we are gone, and wonder who we were, how bravely we fought, how fiercely we loved? -Troy
